Description

The Evacusafe® Excel Evacuation Chair is designed to assist with the safe evacuation of mobility-limited individuals in emergency situations. The chair allows responders to move occupants up or down stairways when elevators cannot be used, helping support evacuation procedures in multi-level buildings and other complex environments.

Constructed with a lightweight yet durable frame, the chair supports a 500 lb safe working load while maintaining maneuverability in stairwells and confined spaces. Integrated friction tracks help control descent on stairs, allowing responders to guide the chair smoothly and safely during evacuation. Once on level ground, the chair can be used to transport the occupant across flat surfaces.

The chair folds for compact storage and can be mounted on the wall using the included storage hooks. A protective cover is also included to help keep the chair clean and ready for use. The Evacusafe Excel Evacuation Chair is commonly used in hospitals, commercial buildings, schools, airports, and other facilities that prioritize emergency preparedness and assisted evacuation capabilities.
