Description
The LUCAS® 3 Automated Chest Compression System (Version 3.1) is designed to deliver consistent, guideline-based chest compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The device helps maintain continuous, high-quality compressions when manual CPR may be difficult to sustain, supporting patient care during cardiac arrest events.
The system provides mechanical chest compressions with consistent depth and rate, helping reduce caregiver fatigue and allowing responders to focus on other critical tasks during resuscitation. The device is designed for rapid deployment and stable positioning relative to the patient during treatment and transport.
The LUCAS device can connect wirelessly to the LIFENET® System, allowing access to setup options, post-event report generation, and asset management capabilities that support clinical documentation and system oversight.
Each device is shipped with one rechargeable battery, patient straps, a stabilization strap, two disposable suction cups, a carrying case, and the Instructions for Use, providing the essential components needed for device setup and operation.
Constructed for durability and reliability, the LUCAS system is commonly used in EMS agencies, hospitals, emergency departments, and critical care transport environments, where mechanical CPR may be required during resuscitation and patient movement.
