The LIFE® StartSystem Emergency Oxygen Unit is a compact, portable system designed to provide supplemental oxygen during emergency situations. It functions as both an inhalator for breathing individuals and a resuscitation adjunct for non-breathing patients, supporting rapid response in workplaces, public access environments, and first aid programs.
This unit features two fixed flow settings of 6 LPM and 12 LPM, allowing for standard or higher flow oxygen delivery based on patient needs. The simple “Norm” and “High” settings support quick, intuitive operation in high-stress situations.
Smaller than a briefcase and weighing approximately 8 pounds, the StartSystem is designed for easy storage in AED cabinets or wall-mounted locations. The durable, water-resistant case helps protect internal components, while a constant-reading gauge allows users to monitor oxygen levels without activating the unit.
The system includes a 113-liter oxygen cylinder providing approximately 15–18 minutes of oxygen at 6 LPM and is shipped ready to use with essential components. The cylinder is replaceable or refillable through authorized gas suppliers to support ongoing readiness.
