The Excel-e Stair Climber is a power evacuation chair that can transport people up or down the stairs in the event of an emergency evacuation. The chair is the same ergonomic design as the non-powered Excel chair, with the addition of strong, on-board battery powered lifting tracks that can support hundreds of pounds and move up many flights of stairs on one charge. Once ground level has been reached, the device also functions as a temporary wheelchair. With a supportive flat seat base, armrests and padded headrest the chair offers comfortable seating for extended periods of time. When not in use, Evacusafe Excel-e chairs fold for compact storage. Each chair ships with a sturdy, long lasting protective cover.
